Carlos' n Charlie's Restaurant - Cancun, Mexico

Carlos’ n Charlie’s is a casual, fun and friendly restaurant, with the ambiance for all to enjoy.  Although they do not have outdoor seating, we were able to sit at the open window table so that we could enjoy our meal while taking in all the sights and sounds of Mexico.

One of the things we enjoyed most about the restaurant was the Guacamole cart (see video below).  They make fresh guacamole right at your table with the guacamole master entertaining you while he checks with you every step of the process to see which ingredients you want. You are then presented with your guacamole and hot chips!

Our lunch consisted of a hamburger and fries for Playa Weatherman, and veggie burger with fries for me.  While we relaxed, we ate, listened to music and people watched. 

Carlos’ and Charlie’s is located in the Forum Mall and Shopping Center.  They are open every day from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.  But I would recommend checking their website for any updates.

Initially we thought they were pricey.  But given that we were in the Cancun Hotel Zone, their prices were comparable to other local restaurants in the same area.

Additional information:

1)If you are in Cancun and want to take the bus to the restaurant, I recommend taking the R1 or R2 bus.  It’s $12 pesos and stops right at the restaurant. 

2)There is no cover charge.  So, go in and enjoy!

3)They accept reservations for groups.
