When you eat plant-based, and live in another country, sometimes it can be challenging to find substitute products.  For example, during the holidays, my family and I really enjoy a soy-based turkey substitute, called Tofurky.   Several supermarkets in the United States offer this meat alternative, and therefore, it is readily available.

After reading so many reviews on TripAdvisor about Senor Agustin Cruz, we decided to give him a try.

As I mentioned in my previous post titled No Car, No Problem, we do not own a car here. With affordable public transportation, it did not make sense to have a car in this walking community.  However, as I have also mentioned, when we plan on taking a shopping trip to Costco in Cancun or some other store where we may need the additional space, we take a taxi.

My husband and I recently had the opportunity to dine at one of the local restaurants on 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.  After chatting with our hostess, reviewing the menu and placing our orders, we started doing one of our favorite things; people watching.
