And is it ever grand! The Grand Outlet is the first luxury shopping outlet in Mexico and the Largest in Latin America.
The place is huge so plan on making this an all-day excursion with comfortable footwear. We went to their soft opening, armed with tennis shoes and wicking clothing. Although there is still plenty to be done before their official opening, you can still shop until you drop with the stores that took advantage of the soft opening.
The only downside we could identify was that the exquisite restaurants and the amazing food hall is not open yet. What a missed opportunity.
There is plenty of outdoor shaded seating, a Celebration lawn with pillows, hammocks, and additional seating.
Getting there was so easy. We took the colectivo from Puerto Aventuras, Mexico to Playa del Carmen, then hopped on Playa Express and got off at Moon Palace. To get home, we took an Uber.
Don’t want to take up your time with a lot of chit chat. Just go and enjoy the experience. You will not be disappointed.
