A lot has happened since my October 2017 blog post regarding Chedraui and the Chedraui Multi Plaza Shopping Center in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico.
The building has been expanded, stores and restaurantes have moved out and moved on, others have moved in, and some are going the distance. In addition, CI Banco (bank) is open now and there is the promise of a movie theater in the future. Notice I didn’t say near future, just future (LOL).
As in my 2017 blog post, turnover in businesses continue. So stores and restaurents that are here as of this blog post may not be here during your trip.
In addition, the threat of COVID-19 looming over the local economy does not build confidence that this shopping center will develop anytime soon.
Without further ado, here are the photos of Chedraui and the Chedraui Multi Plaza Shopping Center.

| This photo and the next few below are photos from the outside of the shopping center, the fabric store across the parking lot, and the new Super AKI grocery store across the street. In fact, if we are not able to find what we are looking for at Chedraui, we'll go across the street to Super AKI. It's a much smaller store, which makes it quick and easy to get in and out. |
