The Mayan Ruins of Tulum

One of the great joys of living here is being able to visit some of the historic ruins. We decided to take a day trip to see the Mayan Ruins in Tulum. The admission fee was $57 pesos each and we were there for about 3 hours.

We took our time and really enjoyed stopping at the different structures and reading its history. There are several structures to explore, including burial grounds. These ruins are beautiful and sit right on the beach. In fact, the beach was packed with people having fun.

Although we decided to explore the ruins by ourselves, there are tour guides available for a fee. In addition, once you finish exploring the ruins, there are several gift shops and restaurants to check out.
