Saturday in Puerto

On the first Saturday of each month (well…mostly on the first Saturday), Puerto Aventuras (PA) is host to a traditional monthly community bazaar (flea market). The bazaar is held at the local school from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Community members, vendors and crafters are encouraged to rent a booth and sell their wares. 

As I walked around the bazaar, I could see everything from clothing items (new and used) to food and beverages for sale. A couple of the vendors even had games to play. 

It is definitely a fun-filled community event where neighbors gather to catch up on local happenings, grab a bite to eat, and just relax and enjoy the sights and sounds. 

So, if you happen to be in the area on the first Saturday of the month, make sure you stop by and check out the local “Saturday in Puerto”!
