We contacted the company by email and received a follow-up phone call and email immediately from Ted Schellhas, owner of Mayan Security. After meeting with Ted and having him explain how the system works, and the benefits of being able to monitor our condominium while traveling, we decided to purchase the system and had it installed the same day!
Ted helped us identify a system that would meet our needs and was within our budget. He continues to provide exemplary customer care as we learn our new system.
Ted provided a detailed quote outlining and responding to all our questions, a detailed receipt upon completion of the installation and a certificate of installation for us to provide to our insurance company.

His bilingual skills have also come in handy. Ted was at our home one day while we were getting quotes for some home repairs. He was gracious enough to use his language skills to provide support during what could have been an otherwise stressful situation.
In addition, Ted truly went “above and beyond” when he stopped by to check on our system. Our kitchen faucet handles were installed backwards and he quickly fixed it; seems small, but it was greatly appreciated.
He and his family have been wonderful neighbors, offering help in any way they can as we adjust to our new community.
