The Best Weekend Brunch in Town...PLANK!

Standing outside Plank
Our new favorite restaurant is Plank.  Don’t get us wrong, we still love Imprevist (Plank’s sister restaurant), but Plank has the “best weekend brunch in town”.  They are only open for brunch on Saturday and Sunday, and believe me, we attend both days.

We are addicted to their country style French toast with banana flambĂ©.  Neither one of us drink alcohol, so the chef made virgin banana flambĂ©s for us.  Talk about mouthwatering, better than sex (can I say that?) French toast, it is to die for.  And, we absolutely love their harsh browns served family style…YUMMIE!!!   Their self-serve tropical fruit bar and dessert tower is a very nice feature. Maybe even too nice; let’s just say we had more than one serving of dessert (big grin).  Their bread platter is an assortment of flatbread, croissants, and rolls with delicious spreads and butter.

Of course their exemplary customer service is a given.  And Emerson (Plank Manager) and his team always make us feel right at home. And you really can’t beat the price ($275 pesos per person) for everything that's included.

Make sure to pick up your VIP discount card before you leave.

On a scale from 1 to 5 stars, we give it a 10.  See our photos below.

Can’t wait until next weekend. Hope to see you there!

UPDATE: Plank has since increased their prices.  Although the increase is not astronomical, we have greatly reduced the number of times we go.  After all, every little bit counts!
